Long bio:

Gabriel is a Brazilian musician/songwriter living in Prague. He plays original Bossa Nova, Samba, Samba Rock, Afro-Latin, Brazilian Jazz (Guitar, Voice).

His work is based on being on the road as an artist, falling and coming out of love, politics, philosophy and nature. He believes art is not only a mirror to represent the world, but a channel to create a new one.

His music is heavily influenced by Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) from 60’s and 70’s from Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and São Paulo: a fusion of Brazilian rhythms, jazz harmony and poetry. In 2024, his first album was released. “Conheça sua rua” which means “Know your street”,

Gabriel has performed in many famous festivals and venues, like Hard Rock Cafe (Munich, Berlin), Cafe Galerie (Prague’s Castle), Reduta Jazz Club (Prague), U Stare Pani Jazz Club (Prague), The Mozart Hotel (Prague), Vary Good Festival (Karlovy Vary/CZ), Prosecco Fest (Prague), Brasil Fest (Brno/CZ), Cesky rozhlas national radio (Olomouc/CZ), Latin Fest at Maj 4. patro (Prague), and many more over 12 countries in Europe.

Additionally, he is a music teacher at Prague’s International School of Music and Fine Arts.
